Crikey, there were five cars abreast at times! Looks Kevin must have smashed his oil cooler in the bumping and barging that ensued.

Utterly brilliant drive by Ben, I can imagine he must have been pretty emotional about that one as it was an incredible performance. Well done Paul but for me and the EMC family it was wonderful to see Alex come alive, once he got into a rhythm he looked pretty much unstoppable in class 2. It was a hugely eventful weekend, every session on Friday the conditions changed and it seemed things just kept happening. Put new rear tyres on as my flat spotted rears just were not working then the front left damper blew all the oil out, the weld that holds the bottom cup into the body had a tiny pin prick failure in the weld. Then I hear about what happened to Mark, terrible luck mate. For my part the EMC guys did a brilliant job to recover things and thanks to Ian Gorham (County Classics) acquired a GAZ strut to borrow to get me through to Saturday. No time to do any set up though so it was a case of suck it and see but I have to say felt OK. Pete's car looked unstoppable and was so fast on track on Friday it was amazing. I think a lot of ppl expected him to walk it Saturday which seemed to jinx things resulting in the engine failure in the first race. A pretty incredible start to the season but going forward it looks very open in class 1. The depth of experience and talent on show is pretty incredible for a club championship, so many ex champions its a bit mind bending.

Watched Bens Video.....what a drive..relentless is the word that springs to mind..chipping away...chipping away..."TIMBER!!" Spectacular performance.

Neil, hope you're okay after that crash! [8|] Sequence captured by Keith on newworldmotorsport website shows how well the car stood-up to the impact.
