i know a guy who swears by Nankang AS1's
Does he drive a 944 or another car?
I'm considering trying the Nankang NS-1 on the turbo as I'm a bit fed up replacing the rears every 10k miles at S-02 cost.

I have had them on a few years now - however I have never been overly taken on the look of the sidewall on the rears. Seems a bit stretched for my liking. I would prefer something with a more upright/square sidewall (if that is the word) where the rubber actually sits a touch proud of the rim/lip iyswim? From memory the conti's I had before had a squarer profile. Maybe it is just me though...

I bought a set of 20 from Porschapart at £58. They look the mutts nuts and I no longer worry about my wheels coming loose
