picture as requestedORIGINAL: MarkK I think paint the whole centre and just have an embossed look.I am having my track CS forged Turbo wheels done at the minute and that's what I am doing,as they are track wheels I am having an experiment and going for a different look, had to be a colour that goes with a black or red car so am going for a lacquered metallic gold finish.... Strip switch - sprung retainers not moving allowing contact bar to move around and creat short circuit, clean old gease out, tidy up contacts, re-grease and assemble. Sorted - 50p for 2 fuses []
Went to Donington Park to meet Ed - edh- at a Javlin Track day. Ed's is really well sorted, no signs of its recent history and Ed gave me a few pax laps, very smooth and very quick in rather cold and damp conditions, One other 944, out a C plated square dash and a 968CS, plus a Boxster a 996 GT3 and a 997, plus everything else! Also manage to take a few pics [] - [link=http://s787.photobucket.com/albums/yy158/A9XXC/Donington%20Park%2030%2012%2012/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ36]Donington[/link]

Replaced a snapped gearbox oil cooler, snapped clean in half! Must have rattled something with it. No wonder my box got all whiny last night, must have done about 30 miles with no gearbox oil. Fitted a replacement from Alasdair, refilled the box and it all quietened down after 5/10 minutes. Lucky boy I never killed the box and it would seem these boxes are remarkably durable!! Stuart
