what did you do to your 944 today

I don't think we have the gap quite right on the sensors yet as it cut out after a few seconds but it's certainly a start!

It would certainly seem to narrow down your area of investigation.

Valve stem oil seals changed tonight, just the rest of the head to put back together. Got distracted by a non running vw aircooled flat four. Its running nice now but my head is still in bits.

Finally fitted my AFR and Boost gauge today plus as I almost have a full compliment of poly bushes to fit I removed both anti roll bars for powder coating prior to being refitted, only to notice that the outer front arb bushes I have been sent are the wrong ones :-( E mail sent awaiting a reply.

Oh no! I know how you feel

I phoned OPC Reading to order some parts. Spoke to Paul. Paul: "Hello Glenn, what can I do for you?" GlennS: "Hello Paul, I need some more bits for the kit car" Paul: "Ah, right. 1990 944S2 isn't it?" GlennS: "Yes" Paul: "So what are you after?" GlennS: "Handbrake cable" Paul: "OK, that'll be the long, nearside one will it? 'cos we sold you the short, offside one recently" GlennS: "Yes..." Ever get the feeling I'm doing this too often?

Failed water pump took out the timing belt on my Alfa 156 so my 944 has risen from SORN early to take over as daily driver. ...and a photo from last year to brighten up the post.
