what did you do to your 944 today

ORIGINAL: VITESSE Will, did you paint the car to match the kayaks or vice versa?
Na just a nice lucky coincidence lol. I wish I had the sort of money some people do who replace their boats to match their cars!

ORIGINAL: edh That looks ace! I reckon the first picture would be a good Porsche Post cover [:D]
Does look awsome that picture, Would be even better if I could get some welsh mountains n river in the background or some cornish surf. Lol they have had a cayenne on the front of porsche post though, so not totally impossible just not likely.

Porsche Post January 2013 had a silver 944 on the front cover btw. Car looks good Will. Took mine for MOT today, passed and fit for another year. Edd

Heh. I'll have to show my canoe polo mates that. It probably trumps the time I got two GB canoeing internationals in the back seat of the S2! [:)]

Canoe polo = for those to scared off white water :p either way I thinking having two adults in the back is impressive as I know I wouldnt get anyone but a kid behind me really unless I was incredibly uncomfy. I seen a brand new 911 at the world slalom finals last year with 4 slalom boats on the roof which looked pretty awsome.

I'll be sure to pass that along [:D] My involvement is photographing the sport for the BCU and occasionally ECA and ICF; expensive cameras and boats don't mix so I keep my feet firmly dry. * edit... ECA. ECU is what makes cars go!

lol please do I know the canoe polo lot love a bit of abusive banter at times about their ill ability to paddle lol. Fair enough sounds pretty good tbh! lol they dont know a few people whove broken their cameras while filming and photographing kayaking, get yourself a go pro and you can have the best of both worlds boating and photography (even if it is a lower standard lol) best of both worlds :D

ORIGINAL: 944 man I dont like those wheels Chas. Its a shame that my own car has them fitted too.
Strangely enough, I am not keen on them either! At the time I quite liked them! Club Sports are lovely, but also hard to find in good condition I understand. Anyway, you fellas asked for pics, I guess, I better provide some!

As for what I did today, I cleaned it (briefly) and drove it! EDIT: Thank you for correcting my previous post Paul :). I forgot about how the image tags differed around these parts!

What wheels are they? Dont look too bad to me, although cant really see them properly in those pics. Car looks good, classic colour. I think you need to bring it to Bedford... Edd

The wheels on my S2 were Boxtster wheels (I believe they were also fitted onto the early 996 Carrera 2s). On my 951 they are Cup 1s painted in Anthracite. Now the car is cleaned up, they work very well with the car IMO :). Thank you for the kind comments. White and anthracite work very well, for as long as the white stays clean (hopefully a wax and sealer will help there :)). Regarding Bedford, as I came to book for it I had only just missed the boat. I may just come down as a visitor/cameraman though, and pluck the courage up for next time!

My mistake, thought they looked like cup 1's so didn't get the comments. There a few spectators attending Bedford, its free too, having 32 944's on track will be worth coming to watch in my view.[:)] Edd

Very nice - White is my favourite 944 colour

Its these wheels which Im not keen on Edd. My Turbo has them fitted too. I aksed Jeremy if he had the original wheels (928 S4 style forged discs) but he didnt...
