I think I like gold, could be the new black. Not overly keen on the Matt black on my d90s, gloss would have been better, but if I'm gonna get them done think I'll move away from black. Need to learn photoshop.

I think the shade of gold is important,i tried to get a dull bronzy gold that i have seen on Ferraris, the guy that did them added black to the mix,i just thought it would look more pukka than Goldy gold[:D] I have just had another set done in super glossy black laquered up to the hilt, will see if that looks better than the dull gloss i had before on that set of wheels. Fun messing around with wheel colour because if you screw up you can always change it back!

Youre very close with that colour. I read the description before I looked at the photo and its pretty much the shade that I had imagined.

I agree about the Ferrari look. There's a Google picture of a black 458 with satin gold wheels. Looks amazing. Is it a bit daft too ever think a humble 944 can resemble a 458? Maybe.

Lol,Not trying to make it look like a Ferrari!!! ,I just like the shade of gold I saw on a 430 Scuderia and the way it mixes with a red car! Porsche have used gold wheels on a few cars recently so it's not just Ferrari that have a monopoly on gold wheels. I might stick them on my black turbo next and go for the JPS look! [:D]

Craig - rear end does look good without the sticker - and as you say the weight saving will help (you to keep up with the turbo's [:D]) Agree on the number plate Mark - liking the gold wheels [8D]

Cheers Andy[:)] I forgot but I actually had some of my wheels for my red 968 race car done in gold (My wets) if I get a minute tomorrow I will stick a pic up.

I was meaning am I draft to think my 944 could in some small way look as good as that black 458. Reckon I'll give it a bash, not much to lose.

It will look ace,if you don't like it you can change it back after a while, car looks lovely in the pics.

I don't have any decals on my car as I like the look of the car that way,it only has a badge on the nose panel and nothing else.

With ALOT of help[;)],the MOLL Porsche battery got swapped for a 5yr warranty Yasuai (in my black turbo )that will hopefully last! Had enough of prehistoric batteries that stop working after a year! Thanks Mike much appreciated[:)]

Matching rear tyres may be my next upgrade if I was you...............[:D] Stuart

Cleaned up my blower resistor pack after a bout of "full speed only sir". Remarkably easy to locate, remove and clean up and all done in the dark! Stuart

Matching rear tyres? Overrated! Ha ha might put a different one one the front as well so I've got 4 different ones, keeps things interesting.

Good thinking, a ditch finder 944! Hope you have good reflexes!! Stuart

I hope so... even the clowns at Auto-Graph would have a job making the 944 look as chav and bling-tastic as the 458. Ferrari haven't made a pretty car since the 308/328 series (in my opinion of course).
