I shall not lie, dyno tape does rule, especially in the rallying circles it seems . As for the kit, yes I would say so. With it fitted I cannot tell the difference between this clock and the working item which was in my S2 (or others). The final process in rebuilding it is fiddly and it can require a few goes at the final step to make the screen work correctly I suspect that given the chance to tackle one again it would be a quicker and easier task to rebuild, but then that goes for most things . The kit however is cheaper than most working clocks out there IMO . Simon, don't say that! I was happy to join the 'working clock' crew! Saying that, my old S2 clock seemed to last when it was daily driven come sunshine or snow. Fingers are crossed this display does last .ORIGINAL: Hairyarse Nice work Chas although I loved the dyno tape! Lol I take it the eBay kit for the clock gets the thumbs up then? It looks tidy

Where is the Dyno tape? I have a mild case of OCD and I love labels. I have moved on to a Brother labeller which is smarter, but not as durable and its a good deal dearer too! My old car was covered in labels (Oil Pressure Start Bypass Switch; Do Not Attach Anderson Jack With Master Switch Off! (you only do that once!); Polycarbonate - Use Axe (I was bored) etc...).ORIGINAL: ChasRI shall not lie, dyno tape does rule, especially in the rallying circles it seems .ORIGINAL: Hairyarse Nice work Chas although I loved the dyno tape!
