what did you do to your 944 today

ORIGINAL: Hairyarse I've never seen a metallic green square dash before, that must be rare? Nice work sorting the interior.
Yeah, custom colour that was only offered in '82, according to everything I've seen. Some bloke on pelican forum said he'd never seen a green one, and owned the only green 924 he'd ever seen. Hopefully all the bodge fixing I've done will keep it going for a few years longer!

Just seen in yr sig it's Lhasa green, is it same paint code as MK1 golf? Really love that colour and it looks great when freshly painted

Yes, same colour - LA6V. Does look good, although the passenger front wing needs re-doing as it was clearly painted by Stevie Wonder at night using a hose and a 50/50 mix of creosote and sand.

Fitted a new air filter (while i was in there took the cover off the AFM cleaned the tracks and contacts and adjustted seems smoother on tickover but have not driven it yet ?

Here is the picture of that car I was talking about. Now that I look at the picture, I think the intercooler was located somewhere ahead of the radiator.

After the Transaxle dropped its guts on the drive and the oil feed banjo leak, my driveway looks like an environmental disaster. Time to invest in a pressure washer methinks.

James, Car looks great in black and the tele's done like that, it is screaming out for a "Turbo" front wing decal now only 40 odd squid from OPC [link=http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn84/frenchy_062/SAM_0332.jpg]http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn84/frenchy_062/SAM_0332.jpg[/link]

Do it mate. I hated mine when I got the car but it has really grown on me. I haven't seen another one with the decal fitted. I think they look rather cool [:)]

I thought that was a myth but mine does too now. New struts and a good clean and degunk of the mechanism. Just make sure noone is stood behind you when you do it!

Only just got this pic, A couple of week's ago my daughter took this pic of me pre-flighting the Rallye with the Porker sat behind, so that day it would have been "today I used my 944 to get to the strip!" Must do a proper 'Toy Box' pic of them together....

Unfortunately there would need to be some good paint/laquer to stick it to first. It looks better in photos than the flesh, the respray has had to be put on hold for now. I'm quite pleased with the wheels it was a quick diy job as I wasn't sure if I would like it or not.
