Oooh, how do you do this? My indicators don't reliably cancel after either a left or right hand turn and if it can be adjusted I'd love to know how! Thanks, Oli.ORIGINAL: scam75 Needed to re-adjust the wiper stalk after removing during cab problem solving as indicators no longer cancelled after a left turn!

not for much longer .....you're forth ban is being prepared as we type []ORIGINAL: zcacogp Astonishing what you can achieve when you've been banned, eh Peanut? [] Oli.
Oh. Shame. So, let me get this straight - if I'm naughty I don't get banned, and if I am good then I do? This opens up a whole new world of very tempting possibilities to me. Maybe a repeat of the Swear Words Test Thread? Maybe a link to >Ahem< certain websites? Or maybe just a suggestion that the Turbo is better than the S2? All of them would be naughty, but would they be naughty enough to get me out of being banned again? [&:] Oli.
Is your steering wheel boss on straight? Take it off and make sure the lug sticking down is in the middle of the left side, this does the self cancelling, and whilst its off, make sure the self cancelling bits do just that Seen 2 cars with wheel looking correct but 60 degrees out!
A lot of after market wheels have a 6 screw fitting and its quite easy to just plonk the hub on and align the wheel on the hub......First time I did it I was 2 splines out and could not work out where the problem was!

Very simple chaps. Take off the steering wheel and loosen the column stalk and bring it closer to you by 1mm or so then try again! 24mm nut holds on the wheel. 3 Phillips screws hold the cowling. Then you will need an 8mm socket, baby ratchet, extension and elbow. You can then get to the 8mm nut that holds the clamp round the steering column for the stalk. If you don't have a little socket elbow you may need to loosen the cowling that covers the ignition barrel to gain access. Try pulling the stalk about 1mm nearer you then shove the wheel back on and test your self cancelling. If all else fails I have a 928 part number stalk that cancels spare. Late models with intermittent wipe should have the 928 prefix part. Check before you buy a new one if required! StuartORIGINAL: peanut you beat me to it Oli [] My indicators have failed to cancel ever since I bought mine 8 years ago ! []
At last got a noisy rear wheel bearing done. All prepared to do it myself but given the current weather decided to let my excellent local garage do it. Just as well as they had to remove the suspension arm and apply untold tonnage to it in their bearing press. Came out like a bullet when it did go! Would never have been able to do it in situ with a slide hammer. Front and rear nearside bearings supply and fit for £400, happy with that. What a difference to drive now [][] Off for a four wheel alignment next. Loving this car so much! Cheers Paul.
