Agreed on the need for a decent aftermarket intake for our cars. Seems to be too many questions on the ones that are out there. Always great reading your threads Olli. [] Oh, also...I can't quite remember why. Might have to go back over some old emails, but interchanging ABS units from other more recent Porsche cars isn't just a matter of swapping over or putting in the unit and hardware itself. I wish I could recall as I did look into this some time ago. Possibly to do with the fact that for example a unit out of a Boxter or 996 has been programmed around a car with very different weight distribution than ours? There are a couple of people worth talking to on this matter if you want to pursue it. If you could make it work it would be great as there is not a lot of choice and what's out there is very expensive to buy and set up. Read Bosch Motorsports units. There was talk about a BMW unit that might work as well. In any case, best of luck as usual.ORIGINAL: TTM Nice. I know it's easier said than done, but it would be nice to have a modular design where the plenum would be swappable with different intake flanges - different plenum volumes for different intake flanges (8V/16V intake ports). I have a CF intake from Jonas Larsson, I have had the flange reworked but I still don't like how it looks. Would you be interested to have a close look at it? I need a proper rework of the intake flange to fit my 2.7 head.
