944 dyno day?

Shuttup, shuttup, shuttup! [:D]

At Bedford last year I could see Tony's Turbo closing on me over half a lap as we approached the long back straight. I thought I must get this last corner absolutely right then it will be interesting to see how long it takes for him to overhaul me down the straight. I nailed the corner and planted my foot to the floor just as I hit the apex.............

He was past me within about 25 yards [&o]

I'd love to say yes re the T4, but fear it would open the floodgates... Besides which it's not what was agreed with the Dorset Region and West Tuning... however, if it is there, and if the popular chant is "we want the T4", hey it is our club to make of what we will!

Make your mind up (whoever you are), you just said in the last breath I wouldn't be welcome in my T4?.........[8|]
 
What's wrong with your turbo, Pete? Can't you collect it from JMG or have one them bring it?

I'll be taking mine to Jon next week for a pre-dyno fettle. I trust that's not deemed cheating!

I may come along for the social part, but it all depends on whether my car is back from the bodyshop. Naturally, my MOT expires next week...
 
Just been informed that my T4 will need a further remap after getting his new uprated turbo. I get him back next Wednesday
and, there may not be time to sort this out [:(]. Probably lucky for you lot! [;)][8D]
 
Sorry for being quiet folks, busy trying to catch up...

Pete, you are welcome, to come along in anything you like, the only thing I have had to draw the line at is non-Porsches going on the rollers - I have had allsorts (can I put my BMW on there, can I put my Mazda on there...), and it is, after all the Porsche club... as I say, if it is something really special, that those there on the day really want to see, and there is time, we can make exceptions, because it is our club, but priority has to be to the 944 register and Dorset region PCGB.

Pav, yes, consider yourself added to the list!

Chas, we'll look forward to seeing you there, come along whether your car is done or not, I know it is nicer having your car, but don't miss out on THE 944 event of the year so far!

[;)][;)] It won't be ready Ewan. Still, hope to see you there mate, whether it's in the T4 or, my work Transit. Only kidding about
the rollers tref. I know the priority lies with 44's. No worries there mate! If I can get the remap this week, it would of been nice to
see what it is pushing out is all. I reckon around 200 bhp in a T4 van.....[8D]!! I can always get it logged another time with a more
local dyno tuner if it's going to get up peoples noses [8|]!

Does anyone have an indication of what time this will end? I have something I need to do in the morning but would like to drop by if you're all still going to be there in the afternoon.
