Leave all methods of payment at home unless you are prepared to be the proud owner of one of Porsche best kept secrets until we opened for business[][] Good timing one week before the end of month sales figures have to be finalised[]ORIGINAL: H14PDB L51P would do for me. BTW I am hoping to go down and look over the OPC Solihull car along with the one at Shirley's Garage end of next week. Can then make informed choices on colour and seats have driven both cars.

Good Advice Rob re Solihull Car. Shirley has had her car a long, long time. I would be going in around £32.5 and leave them with that! If they put the correct wheels on as part of the deal - be a bit more generous - go £34.5K[] to include warranty! Someone on here said someone was looking for Turbo wheels.ORIGINAL: daro911Leave all methods of payment at home unless you are prepared to be the proud owner of one of Porsche best kept secrets until we opened for business[][] Good timing one week before the end of month sales figures have to be finalised[]ORIGINAL: H14PDB L51P would do for me. Daro911 I am very taken with the colour of that car, sold instantly.
I had my wheels swapped with another car in stock, no charge. The seats I don't think is an bartering point but by all means try it. They will say that sports seats are preferred by many, which is true. You could also tell them that it has no PSE. It's the only OPC car left so I doubt you'll get more than £1K off. Daro, can you post up one of your snapshots from when there were more cars available. I don't think they'll be good examples to compare this one against though.ORIGINAL: H14PDB Thanks for the advice guys. What would you offer for Solihull car? Considering it has worst wheels and no buckets. They told my wife when she phoned that they could swap them with ones from a Boxster or cayman in stock. Will be interesting discussion.
If MrD doesn't want them I'd make an offer []ORIGINAL: daro911Think it was Mr D knew someone in the market for them[&o]ORIGINAL: jdpef356 Good Advice Rob re Solihull Car. ORIGINAL: VvrooomMGuess I must drive too quickly round lots of tight bends. Shame on me!! I'm only really measuring the inner circular grove, I ignore the shoulders as I expect them to wear to a degree. My measurements seem to decrease across the four grooves from outside to inner on all four tyres. Probably only talking 1mm max difference from outside to in.ORIGINAL: flat6 Just found a bit of info here. Click on the 'Technology' tab. http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/michelin-pilot-sport-ps2#tab-tyres-benefits
Difference in outer tread depth of a new Michelin vs Bridgestone and PirelliORIGINAL: flat6 Here's a pic of my old tyre. The pic was taken at the PCGB track day at Angelsey. We were picking up a lot of race car rubber. That's all the grey blobs and squiggly lines you can see. You can see how the tyre wore. I'm no track driver and the tyres left the track in the condition they came in to be fair. At first when I saw the lines of race car rubber I thought it was mine and was gobsmacked, until I saw that large blob and realised it wasn't from mine[] You'll see my outer edge is well and truly scrubbed and that is not from the track, that is from the road driving. The difference in depth of all 3 grooves was tenths of a mm. Same on the rear. Was really happy with how they wore front and rear as there wasn't any wasted tyre due to uneven wear on one side.
