Does anyone have any info or know the history of the Dove house car. I have spoken to Belfast about there car, it wont be there for long!!

Cool looking pic homerdog. Let's hope it's been doctored though - cold engine, empty tank, overreving to 8000rpm at 100mph with no gear displayed[;)]

ORIGINAL: flat6 Good luck in getting yourself one of these [:)] You won't regret it [;)]
Been looking for a while but difficult to find the right spec , not that many to choose from at the moment!!

That PDK box is broken!!!! Not many for sale at the moment that's for sure. Fewest ever.

What's your preferred spec Mayhem? Rob, the speedo and rev counter needles have been blacked out from their real position and moved. The red shadows have also been left behind at zero[;)] It's a cool idea though [:)]

I liked it [:)] Yep it looked better with the revs red-lining[:)] I've never tried photoshop but I know who to come to now if we ever need to visualise a concept[;)]

If the Belfast car has been properly prepped then come the summer the new owner could even make a profit[:D]

ORIGINAL: Tracy Wilkins Dovehouse cars have a black pdk Spyder at £35,995 if anyone is looking for one.

I doubt the Belfast OPC has not been following the forum[] ..as Daro911 said some one could make a wee profit on that car come the summer months. . Mayhem 911 Go for it and you could be really cheeky and ask if they could change the wheels to Spyder ones [;)] unless you like the Turbo ones

ORIGINAL: flat6 What's your preferred spec Mayhem? Preferred spec is bucket seats , spyder wheels,( no compromise on these) Pdk, with paddleshift, sports exhaust, PCM with phone module and interface, don't need much else as it will be a third car to be enjoyed on good driving days!!

I did, they would put the price up accordingly(applying some discount) based on £4800 for the spyder wheels.. Ouch!!

How much discount do you think they applied to the wheels? If it was only 10%, you can get that at any OPC as a club member. The car's price is currently so good that if you could even get the £950 off the asking price, buy the Spyder wheels elsewhere such as your local OPC if you can get a discount, and sell on the turbo wheels, you won't have done badly at all. Or get a higher discount off the Spyder wheels at Belfast OPC (they should have room as the car may have £5K profit in it), keep the turbo wheels and sell them on. But you'll need transportation for the second set of wheels back from Belfast.

They offered to reduce car,if I paid full price for the wheels, as you stated a small discount for club membership want discussed, the deal isn't so attractive at this level of pricing.at least the dove house car is in the midlands and not a plane ride away! Depends how they prep their cars and how much you value an Opc warranty, when you compare both deals!!

I guess as the car has just hit the market and the phone is no doubt ringing a plenty, they're not inclined to do much of a deal so soon[&o].

Spydermen . Anyone going to the NECC this weekend for the classic show . I am going down Saturday /Sunday so if anyone want's to meet up at the show let me know and we could arrange a meet at either the PCGB or Tipec stand . Brian
