Geoff

loi are out the window, people have loi in for cars 10 years in advance now, so it's pointless.

it's not my cup of tea, nor the exhaust, if he wanted to spend money get the 420BHp upgrade.

the Stock exhaust unit sounds great as is and already loud.

please Porsche can I have a GT4 RS with a proper engine, thanks

YES please.....!!!

well I run this set up on my spyder (and it's MOT safe) and now you can buy direct from cargraphic for the GT4, very tempted if NO RS happens, and put an end to having a de tuned engine !!! :) even bigger gains for the 981 Spyder boys from 375PS. CARGRAPHIC Power Kit Stage 1 for Porsche 981 Boxster Spyder / Cayman GT4 increase up to 308KW(419PS) and 454Nm Consisting of: - CARGRAPHIC performance software (ECU upgrade) - BMC sport air filter - IPD intake plenum - 82mm throttle body - New generation longtube manifold set with 2x Tri-Metal Ø120mm big volume 200 cell highflow HD catalytic converters

David,

Do you know if cargraphic(ts) have appointed UK fitters yet?

I think I'd rather have Jens/Ulrich fit it even though he has "productionised" the upgrades and formalised his relationship with MTO.

I know that Litchfield are now using Cobb's Accessport for OBD tunes

Ralph

there are 2 dealers for Cargraphics in the UK. PARR (expensive guys) and

Jasmine PorschaLink where I got mine from for the Spyder.

cobb would be a good way to go as all these kits atm mean a new ECU so it's a tad expensive.

I have cables/software and can do my own on my Spyder which is handy as I have the org file a normal R file with a bit of a tune and a fully tuned R file with 99 ron fuel.

The intake mods (IPD + 82mm TB) that the USA guys tried first didn't deliver much extra because of the ECU throttle control and thus ECU was the constraint. Interestingly the 200 cell Cargraphic headers now seem to offer more extra power even without an ECU tune.

So a first step might be to install the headers, then if extra is required decide on ECU tune or Cobb, and additionally upgrade the intake side.

Of course development moves forwards and efforts are now focused on 4.0L engine upgrades...which can start with one's old 3.4L engine.

trying to get a dyno off Jens for just the manifold fitment atm, he did do one.

update only 6bhp from the manifolds so the ECU is totally throttled and no point doing anything unless you get the ECU :-(

Just watched that ! I wonder how much of the gap closes if the gt4 had same gearbox or/and all 430 ponies unleashed!

Hi

With Reference to the Blue GT4 with Martini Decals the owner

has done it that way as When he brought his GT4 from Porsche

Colchester Dealership he was given a Martini Watch thats why.

If you go into You Tube you can see what this owner has changed

with his GT4 to make it sound much better than it sound now

well worth the watch.Yours Kevin.

Now i know why Porsche only offer those colours to sample ... they are only rare for one reason ... Taste! Apologies if i offend lime green or bright orange lovers ... [:'(]
