There are stories on PH about one Centre and of course the court case where a prospective GT3 buyer successfully sued a Centre.

I ordered a GT4 ages ago and picked it up last week. Sorry but there were no dodgy dealings to support the article.

Have to say I had very high expectations for the GT4; it is amazing and I'm keeping it!

Nick

According to a PC salesman I spoke to the other day you only get to flip a new Porsche once.

If you are lucky enough to be allowed to buy a new special, eg, a GT4, and you choose to flip it then you're off the list for the 911R, as one customer recently found out, incredibly, he thought he'd been hard done by!

For me, the more that flip, the higher up the list I go!

Liking the look of this new GT4, and just saw Chris Harris's video at Portimao on YouTube [8D]

Are some of these colours PTS. If so, and out of interest, what kind of delay does PTS involve?

Very nice Nick. Is that Carmine Red?

That Voodoo Blue car in a previous picture also looks very tasty.

Enjoy your new purchase - nice timing for the good weather.

Jeff
Thanks Jeff, yes it is Carmine with the Clubsport Package. I agree, Voodoo does look good and the GT4 suits a lot of colours. If I said Carmine looks best that would sound a bit biased. [:)]

Just had a lovely gentle run in todays sunshine and feeling very happy with the steering, brakes, ride quality and comfort.

Nothing wrong with that Matthew....but then I'm a fan of blue.

Colours look very different in sunlight compared with the dazzling lights of the showroom.

My Question would be ... Why did the said customer try and buy, quote a "GT3, GT3 RS, GT4, 911R" quite simply because they wanted to join the "make a profit" party and are just jealous of those who have already danced to that tune ... This whole argument is tiresome - Porsche OPC's are virtually all very fair, apart from one very well known one ... I pick mine up on Wednesday, happy in the knowledge i have been treated very professionally and will have one of the best cars Porsche has ever built and not looking to Flip but to keep and enjoy every mile, every turn of the wheel and every down shift .... safe in the knowledge it will never be worth less than i paid for it ...?!!!

he says what he feels like at show time, a master sales man and great for hype at show time.

the flat 6 maybe even turbo ;-) he does say he will stay with the flat 6, he did not say a NA flat 6 ;-)

Good point Mr D ... I think the Turbo charged 6 will be the next GT4 with PDK - quicker than the original but leaving the original as a landmark Porsche car ... Heres to hoping so ;)
