New Turbo: took the plunge!

Went to the (now infamous) Ragley Hall yesterday. We got there after lunch so I think most had left by then due to the chaos but I was really dissapointed to have only spotted about three or four 997 Turbos there.

Sadly though the best looking 997 I spotted all day wasn't a Turbo, it was this beautiful black GT3 RS

odd that, as there were three parked together in the 997 parking area, Cobalt, Black and Meteor.. with a further Silver parked just opposite... not that I noticed .... Chris asked if I had seen you Alex, I had my picnic under the 997 flag and a few came along and chatted..

You may have seen me with my misses and a white golden retriever wandering about. The dog was getting more attention than the cars!!!

It was sat inline with the roadway to the hall halfway down the field, apparently it was a free for all in getting the plots firs thing in the morning, so no organisation at all, and after all the promise of plenty of parking []
As I said earlier, I struggled to find it after getting caught in the queues...[]
I expected it to follow model number but didn't....

We never took our dog in the end, a little too warm for him to enjoy it...

i turned up with region 20 had to park in genral public car park ,found 997 region had good chat with gary (my joint last place mate) and rob,also spoke to guy with carbolt blue turbo,he had a cargraphic exhaust fitted he also started the car up so i could listen to the exhaust, had quite a good day at ragley hall but could have been better, but was with my other half & friends so wasnt such a bad day
spoke to tubi exhaust today about exhaust for turbo

How did the cargrpahic exhaust sound?

By the way, I am busy trying to find out more on the new Ruf 997 Turbo 550bhp package (incl. exhaust)

About 11k EUR from what I have heard, but it's supposed to put the car into Carrera GT territory!

cargraphic exhaust didnt sound to bad,spoke to opc today they said any change in non approved porsche exhaust could effect warranty? but no word on porsche sport exhaust for turbo?

Been there, done that.

Had a Tubi on mine for a while, no issues, OPC aware and formally finger wagging but just what is the problem ?

15 hours to go and counting!!!

The car is FINALLY at my OPC but they wouldn't let me see it today. By all accounts though she's a stunner (both inside and out)!!

Picking her up midday tomorrow, probably in the pouring rain. Good job I have 4wd!!

Decided NOT to apply any clear-bra paint protection (after a LOT of consideration)

Will be driving over to Bristol tomorrow afternoon or Sat afternoon to have my HRE wheels fitted. Will post pics before and after.

How much sleep do you think I will get tonight?!
